Description
The Mistletoe Cactus plant has long, pendulous, and slender branches, making it different from other cactus varieties. Initially, the stems are cylindrical, which become flattened and segmented on maturity.
It does not have any traditional spines like most other cacti, making it soft and providing it with a distinct appearance. It is native to both Central and South America, some parts of the Caribbean, and also to tropical regions of Africa and Sri Lanka.
It is commonly used as a decorative indoor plant in hanging baskets because of its cascading growth habit. Apart from this, the plant can be used for greenhouses.
