As a tropical plant, palm majesty needs high humidity in the air, around 50 to 60%. The other thing that is crucial for majesty palm maintenance is consistent warm temperature, with an ideal range of 18°C–29°C. 

As they are not winter plants, consider protecting them from the dramatic, frequent shifts in locations, sudden cold drafts, or direct heat from the vents. The prolonged temperature drops from 13°C can cause significant stress to the plant.

Fertilizers 

While doing majesty palm tree care, feed it with a half-strength fertilizer once or twice in the growing season of spring and summer. Give the tree time to rest in winter and avoid fertilizing during that period.

I got this palm from lowes for 3$ and it was pretty dry and the leaves are turning even more should i cut the crunchy ones off and just let it do it’s thing till it settles?  

Solution worked for me: Yes! Cut the brown and dry fronds at the base to stop them from stealing the energy. Leave the partial green leaves to help the houseplant recover. Focus on majesty palm care by keeping them moist and providing the required humidity and sunlight.
